Primera Division: Valencia – Granada

Those of you who have seen Champions League game between Chelsea and Valencia had a good chance to see both clubs potential. Valencia a solid opponent for stars packed Chelsea and as the result they’ve managed to get a decent draw. This is their second really good result against top flight teams after they’ve stopped Barcelona with a 2:2 draw.

Granada is definitely not a team that you would compare to Chelsea or Barca. So far they only managed to win points playing at home and this situation is not really likely to change this weekend.

Primera Division: Barcelona – Atletico Madrid

It looks that Spanish Primera Division will be much more interesting than we could have expected after first round and goal packed games from Real Madrid and FC Barcelona. Since then Barca already got 2 draws and Real is even worse with a defeat and a draw.

It will be another hard game for Catalans as on form Atletico with Falcao as a new team leader will be very difficult to beat. Atletico is beating their opponents in the league just as we would expect it from Barca and Real while Barca is struggling especially away from home.

Spanish Primera Division: Valencia – FC Barcelona

Barcelona, just like AC Milan that I’ve mentioned in one of previous news is having a mixed season. They can play a really perfect game such as like last weekend when they’ve beaten Osasuna 8:0. But they also can get a pretty crap games like against Real Sociedad (2:2) or against Milan (also 2:2).

Valencia after selling some of its best players during last seasons (Villa, Mata, Silva) is still playing a really nice football that gave them the 1st position in the table. Of course game against Barca will be very difficult but it won’t definitely be so easy for Catalans.

Barca will play without Iniesta and Sanchez while Valencia will be without Miguel, Topal and Costa.

The Catalans  will have to play their best to get 3 points out of it and I’m expecting quite a close game. Valencia +1.25 with 1.90 at Ladbrokes

Spanish Primera Division: Atletico Madrid – Sporting Gijon

I must admit that after selling Sergio Aguero and Diego Forlan Atletico Madrid has managed to get some really impressive replacements that gave the team some freshness.

A 40 mln EUR Falcao is the most interesting player that has already shown that he is a valuable cover for attack. He got his hat-trick against Racing Santander and it seems he will only be better and better. It also looks that Diego feels much better in Spain than in Germany.

Spanish Primera Division: Villarreal – Mallorca

Midweek action in Spanish Primera Division is bringing us some very interesting games with Villarreal vs. Mallorca looking to be the hottest one.

Both clubs are currently underachieving in the league. Villarreal seemed to be one of the strongest teams behind Real Madrid and Barcelona backs but they’ve manged to get only one point from their first 3 league games. But one must admit their schedule wasn’t too good. They’ve started with an away loose against Barcelona (0:5) but then managed to lift their play and get a solid 2:2 draw at home against Sevilla loosing the decisive goal 5 minutes before full time.
